Quick note to remind anyone who presently has nothing to do on the weekend of April 6. A few mates and I at work submitted a few ideas for the first annual Red Bull Australian Flugtag and we have been selected to compete. Flugtag is basically a competition where groups build psuedo flying machines then launch off a platform into the water below, in this case it is Sydney Harbour.
Should be a massive weekend, it’s not every day that you get to do something like this so if you’re in the country let me know if you want to come along for the adventure.
It may be hard to see but this is Al and Matty throwing a water bottle at a football stuck in a tree at Byron Bay at 6:30am
They got it down eventually and we got the accommodation booked for Bluesfest…

We’ve all had our moments ref wise (I’m looking at you Woulfe), but this surpasses anything any of us are capable of.

Well Mr Carey…I think it is time you filled us all in on your most recent brush with the law…
I assume everybody knows, but if not here is a brief recap:
- I’m sure you all remember the guy that was assaulting girls on Brisbane’s bike tracks
- Someone anonomously rang crime stoppers and identified Pete as the man on the Indenti-kit
- Police then arrived at Pete’s mums house and questioned her as to her sons whereabouts in relation to this
- Pete then recieved a call from Brisbane CIB in Switzerland
- Upon finding out that Pete is not even in the country and doesn’t look anything like the pic, suspicion was dropped
Now this is where the story has ended. The boys in OZ got rude text messages demanding to know who did it…however I think I can speak for us all when I say that this is way to far over the line even for us. This has to be possibly one of the most random, yet ridiculously funny things that has happened to anyone of us!
I’m sure you don’t see the humour in it yet Pete…and we share your concern for this act of bastardry…however this is possibly some of the funniest shit I have heard in ages!!
Possible culprits have been suggested as being jilted ex’s (of which there are many!)…I’m sure we would all love to hear how your hunt is going…and an account from your side would be great
1. Grab your best girlfriend
2. Tell your parents you are going to France for the weekend
3. Head to Ghana instead as I hear it is nice this time of year
4. Meet a couple of likely local lads and head to the beach for sun and beers
5. The lads happen to have a couple of empty laptop bags they need to give to a mate in London
6. What a coincidence! We can take it for you and give to your mate
7. Sweet! You British chicks are great
8. Start looking dodge at Ghana airport (now that is impressive haha!)
9. £300 000 pounds worth of coke later in two laptop bags…and the following to say in thier defense:
“We never thought anything bad was inside … and they told us to go to the UK and drop it off to some boy … at the airport.”
